ACTS OF SET
Far before these days,
Rouse up a man
Claiming to be a poet,
Read by a multitude.
He has created tension,
To many society sinners,
Pointing fingers from all angles.
Asking why he writes them.
He tells us to keep away.
From this men of fingers
For there undertakings,
He wrote to us.
They can not be overthrown,
But if it is God,
He will set them free again,
And instill acts of faith in them.
NOTES
The persona in the poem tells us about the relationship of the poets and the society. It is deteriorating since the poet is exposing evil vices in the society of which "society sinners" people against the poet are not happy about it and therefore they are name calling the poet in an attack. The poet feels hated and tells the general society to keep away from any form of evilness and from those doing wrong in the society. As stated in the second stanza. The poet has not mentioned any evil vice in the poem but he has done it in other poems example "ELITES OF TODAY".
